After a long year of flight restrictions due to COVID-19, United was ready to announce new routes as countries were dropping their travel bans. The ask was for a "Return to Flying Playbook" - a campaign with a templatized look and message that could be swapped out as each country opened up. United needed this new look to stretch across web ads, social posts, and on the homepage of their site.
I used the visual of the seatbelt light to make the connection between “free to roam the cabin”and “free to roam the countries” that were opening up.
